His books include Michelangelo, God’s Architect: The Story of His Final Years and Greatest Masterpiece (Princeton); Discovering Michelangelo: The Art Lover’s Guide to Understanding Michelangelo’s Masterpieces; and Michelangelo: The Artist, the Man, and His Times.
