Cohen Andrew

Brian Edward Cox OBE, FRS is an English physicist who serves as professor of particle physics in the School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Manchester. He is best known to the public as the presenter of science programmes, especially the Wonders of... series and for popular science books, such as Why Does E=mc²? and The Quantum Universe. He has been the author or co-author of over 950 scientific publications.

Andrew Cohen, the Editor of Horizon, has been appointed Head of the BBC's award-winning Science Unit. Andrew has been running Horizon since 2005 and has been responsible for overseeing the rebranding and editorial reinvigoration of the strand. In his new role he will head up London Factual's science team and will be spearheading the creation of a new virtual Academy of Science.
