Hart Adam

Adam Hart is a biologist, broadcaster, academic and author. Professor of Science Communication at the University of Gloucestershire, Adam is a regular broadcaster on BBC Radio 4, presenting documentaries on topics as varied as accidental discoveries, tree diseases, man-eating animals and rhino poaching. He also co-presented the BBC2 series Hive Alive and the BBC4 documentary Planet Ant. An avid fan of insects, Adam is also a well-known commentator on African conservation and co-directs scientific research into conservation issues at a wildlife reserve in South Africa. In recognition of his wide-ranging scientific research interests and achievements, he is a Fellow of both the Royal Entomological Society and the Royal Society of Biology.
