Dexter Hoyos is Honorary Associate Professor of Classics and Ancient History at the University of Sydney. He is the author of The Carthaginians (2010) and Hannibal: Rome's Greatest Enemy (2008). He is also the editor of A Companion to the Punic Wars (2011).
